Dr. Elzbieta Jarzabek, Psy.D.

Elzbieta Jarzabek is a licensed psychologist in Connecticut and Georgia.  She received her doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in family therapy from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. After her pre-doctoral internship at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT, she completed postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine through the Marcus Autism Center in Atlanta, GA.

 

Dr. Jarzabek’s clinical work focuses on conducting psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and developmental assessments. She also provides individual and family therapy for individuals with a range of neurodevelopmental concerns and co-morbid mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, communication problems and relationship difficulties.

 

Dr. Jarzabek held a faculty position at Yale University, where she participated in multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations, conducted research, and supervised students and post-doctoral fellows. She has presented at national and international conferences, published research articles, and provided autism-focused consultations and trainings.

 

She feels privileged to support individuals and families in need of psychological services, specifically in the area of assessment, treatment planning, and intervention services. She is also passionate about implementation of evidence-based treatments into the community.
